In the African traditions and Society Hair Braiding came Naturally. A formal training was not required and necessary to learn the Crafts and Art of Hair Braiding. Society did not offer any incentive for an individual to make Hair Braiding his or her profession.

Hair Braiding became my profession in 1989 when I moved to New York City. My career began on 125th Street near the Apollo theater in New York City. My career continued on in Colorado Springs,Co from 1994 to 1997.

Full circle back to New York City.

Since 2003, San Antonians have enjoyed my Expertise. With the recent opening of my salon ,I am looking forward to serving a larger population of San Antonio.
